Description

Writing/editing (80%)

  • Tell the companies story in an interesting and exciting way
  • Develop content for internal and external communication aligned with the companies tone of voice and style
  • Transform technical and operational information into clear and concise content
  • Conduct research to check the accuracy and relevance of produced stories
  • Stay up to date with trends and developments affecting the industry
  • Actively share ideas during brainstorming sessions
  • Help Regional Marcomms teams draft and revise content according to guidelines
  • Collaborate with people from different functional expertise to deliver marcomms campaigns
  • Identify and report issues in the content workflow
  • Create backups of the team’s work files and maintain the content archive
  • Maintain an updated record of tasks assigned to Copywriters
  • Provide writing/editing support for content-related ad hoc tasks as needed

 

Administrative (20%)

  • Develop content for internal and external communication aligned with the companies tone of voice and style
  • Coordinate/schedule team meetings and events
  • Record and compile minutes of meetings and help with documenting the team’s challenges and achievements
  • Schedule and conduct regular backups of the team’s work files and maintain the team’s archive in SharePoint
  • Help the Senior Copywriter/ Team Lead in preparing team reports for submission to the Manila Leadership Team
  • File archiving
  • Support the implementation of team engagement activities
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed
  • Compliance in company policies

 

 

Qualifications

  • 3–4 years’ experience in copywriting/copyediting in a high-pressured environment
  • A degree in English, journalism, marketing, sales, public relations, communications or similar disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Excellent coordination and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong attention to details including correct spelling, use of grammar and punctuation
  • Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Confident, proactive and can pitch creative ideas
  • Has a flexible approach to work
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary civil engineering projects and experience in professional services, consultancy or construction sector is desirable
